Lighthouse is Under One Sky’s trauma-informed life transformation programme, designed to support people as they move beyond immediate survival and begin to rebuild their lives.
Many of the individuals we support have experienced significant trauma. Lighthouse recognises this, placing trust, consistency, and safety at the centre of every relationship.
Built on the foundations of our outreach, Lighthouse focuses on individuals who are ready for the next step - those beginning to stabilise and looking towards a different future.
Our Lighthouse programme includes:
Consistent support: Ongoing, one-to-one relationships that provide stability, trust, and a safe space over time.
Trauma-informed approach: Support that recognises the impact of trauma, working at each person’s pace with care, dignity, and understanding.
Pathways forward: Practical support into employment, housing and education, tailored to each individual’s circumstances.
Reconnection: Support to rebuild relationships with community and support networks.
Personal development: Opportunities to build confidence, skills, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Lighthouse ensures that the relationships built on the street lead somewhere meaningful - creating safe, supported pathways out of homelessness.
